Student Travel Awards

The AMLC Student Travel Fund was established using donations of Individual Members of the AMLC. These donations were specifically made to the AMLC to support student travel to the biennial Scientific Meeting. The purpose of the AMLC Travel Fund is to defray the cost of travel and housing and is not meant to cover the cost of Registration.

Awards and award amounts will be based on need and travel costs. To be eligible for the AMLC Student Travel Award, the student will need to register and pay the fee for the meeting. Priority will be given to students who are submitting an abstract for an oral presentation or poster. Award amounts will vary between US$100-500. This award is only for the AMLC meeting being held in Merida, Mexico in May 2017.

  • This application form
  • Proof of enrollment, such as a copy of a student ID card, a letter from the registrar, or other similar documentation

NOTE: Postdoctoral fellows are not eligible for these awards.

Deadline: Applications are due no later than March 31st, 2017. Awardees will be notified by email no later than 16 April 2017.
